Cairns Slipways

Cairns Slipways is the best known and most experienced refit yard in Australia and offers a complete yacht repair and refit facility. Equipped with extensive fit-out wharves, a dry dock that can accommodate vessels up to 60 metres and a slipway equipped for vessels up to 1500 metric tonnes and 80 metres. The side-slip is rated at 250 metric tonnes.

Norship Marine

Norship Marine has exciting refit infrastructure development plans coming to fruition. The facility now operates a new 400 tonne travel lift and caters for vessels up to 58 metres in length with 11m beam.. The company's development plans include 3 dedicated, covered, climate controlled paint sheds with service facilities designed to meet the needs of superyachts. The yard will also increase its already 90 strong staff level to 150, specialising in hydraulics, mechanical engineering, fabrication, diesel engines, marine transmissions, hull fairing and refinishing.

Tropical Reef Shipyard

Tropical Reef Shipyard has a long and proud history in Cairns, servicing a wide variety of vessels including superyachts, trawlers, tugs, passenger ferries, fisheries research vessels, off-shore supply vessels, tankers and cargo vessels. The yard includes a 3,000 tonne slipway catering for vessels up to 95 metres with a 19 metre beam, 7 metre (aft) draft and 350 tonnes.
